Planning to welcome a puppy into your home is a big and exciting event for the whole family. It often involves finding a kennel you trust and having the patience to wait. I warmly encourage you to visit us and meet our dogs before making the decision about whether a puppy from Opperfjäll’s is the right choice for you. Since we are a small-scale breeder, the wait time can sometimes be a bit longer.

All dogs used in our breeding program are health-checked, including heart certification, eye exams, and patella (knee) evaluations. I also MRI scan my dogs for syringomyelia and perform DNA testing for CC/DE and EF.

Our dogs are insured with Agria, and the puppies are covered by insurance for so-called “hidden defects” for up to three years.

We live in a beautiful, scenic area with a small number of dogs who live closely with us both indoors and outdoors. The calm and natural environment helps our puppies grow into confident and well-balanced individuals.

All puppies are health-checked, dewormed, vaccinated, microchipped, and of course registered with the Swedish Kennel Club (SKK). If you live in Norway, a passport and deworming by a veterinarian are also included.
